Kolectra ("we", "our", "the Platform") provides financial infrastructure for cooperatives, associations, and organized groups. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect personal data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and applicable laws.
1.2 Data We Collect
We may collect the following categories of data:
- Identity Data: Full name, email address, phone number
- Organizational Data: Cooperative/society details, roles, membership records
- Financial Metadata: Bank Account Details, Transaction logs, contribution records, loan records (NOT custody of funds)
- Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, session activity
- Verification Data: Documents submitted for onboarding or compliance
1.3 Purpose of Data Processing
We process data strictly for:
- Platform onboarding and account management
- Contribution tracking and financial record structuring
- Governance, voting, and audit trails
- Regulatory compliance and reporting
- Fraud prevention and system security
1.4 Data Storage & Retention
- Data is stored securely using encrypted infrastructure
- Financial records may be retained for audit and regulatory purposes (minimum 7 years)
- Inactive accounts may be archived but not deleted where legally required

We do not sell user data. Data may only be shared with:
- SEC approved asset managers (for investment execution only)
- Regulated financial institutions (custody partners)
